“The Symbols”

Washington DC and the Pentagon are the ultimate symbols of America’s might, freedom, military and its people. On September 11, 2001 a few terrorists attempted to destroy those symbols, but succeeded only in strengthening the unity and determination of the American people.

Still, the price was enormous. American Airlines Flight 77 (59 people) ---The Pentagon (125 people) --- a total of 184 innocent victims.

This is the loss which we must forever remember, and Washington Place will provide us a gathering spot for that purpose.
